Getting started

On this page you will find free downloads of my Amiga music in both MP3 and MOD format.
Right-click on the according blue link to download a file.

The MP3 quality is 128kb/s in full stereo. All MP3-Versions are remastered and improved in quality.

The MOD-Files can be played with a compatible plug-in or software, e.g. Oldskool-Plugin for Winamp or the Modplug Player. All these programs are Freeware as far as I know.

Make your own Mods

To create your own modules you can use Modplug Tracker (with up-to-date sound quality) for the PC or set up your virtual Amiga with the WinUAE Emulator and use the good old Protracker or similar trackers.

Amiga Module Nostalgia

This is the archive of my songs written on the Amiga from 1992-98 as Meta, member of the Amiga scene group Ethic (Berlin and Potsdam, Germany).

All tracks are Protracker Modules. In this format, the digital instruments were saved along with the score and effect-commands in one file. These files could easily be transferred to friends or included in games and demos.

Techno / Lounge

Techno, Trance, Lounge and Downbeat - difficult to produce with only 4 tracks, but usually all drums took up only 1 track by mixing them into continuous loops.

Chips

Chip-tunes used very short samples and arpeggio commands to create an 80s arcade-style sound. The smaller the file-size, the better.

Amiga Productions

Our group Ethic was chiefly about meeting people with mutual interests, but we did release a couple of productions, some of which even featured my songs.
